Evriholder Easi Twist Easy Openers Colors Review

We have used this product for many years. This works very well. Unfortunately our can opener broke due to abuse from a visiting relative. So we ordered a replacement. I don't know if it's the same manufacturer, but this model isn't as wide at the top as our previous can opener from years ago. As a result, we found that we couldn't open some banks with it like before. Therefore we lowered the rating. Otherwise it works great except for the limitation I mentioned.

This order was a replacement for our 1 year old opener and one as a gift for a friend. I'm lucky, even at the age of 80 I have minimal arthritis and still have a very strong grip. However, the plastic caps on plastic bottles are becoming increasingly difficult to open. I still have a set of new bench vises in my kitchen drawer and they haven't been used since we got this wonderful opener. My wife has arthritis in her hands and with this tool she can open 95% of bottles/containers. Great product

I needed this to do things open my ninja shaker so I get strong enough to open pickles and jars of pickles in the meantime. Unfortunately, these lids are about 3.75 inches in diameter, maybe a little larger, and this opener doesn't open wide enough. Small children could not open jars with pickled cucumbers either. I have seen many different can openers in my life. Unfortunately I bought quite a few of these because my wife could never open the drawers easily and I've never found one that I really liked that did its job well. That is, until now. However, she was able to use it and it worked for her almost every time. every now and then something is too tight and she needs help, but most of the time it helps. it still looks the same as it did when we got it. The description says 'open any jar or bottle with ease' which is not true. It's stiff and difficult to use with large lids like salsa jars that are difficult to grip even with small hands. If you want to open large jars, this product is not for you. For smaller than wide-mouth cans, it works great. It stretches to open jars with a large mouth, but as an "arthritis sufferer" and a woman with average hands, it's too stiff to open any jar with a hole larger than 3 inches. In the next paragraph I wrote why this is garbage. But first, I want to mention that I read an EC review in which he berated this can opener that broke in two when he tried to put it in a wide-lid Costco can. He continues to recommend it for Grammys and people with arthritis. I don't know how he came to this conclusion as people with arthritis need more help than people without the debilitating condition I have.
