Driving is safer

The car has definitely improved. Just installed them last week. I will update this review in 4 months after riding it for a while.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Very expensive

Do not buy Revain car parts.

Not at all what was advertised. This wasn't for the '98 Ford Explorer. We measured them with calipers and they definitely don't fit.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Appearance

Slightly too wide for body lift and suspension kits

As mentioned, they are too wide to fit in a car mount. You just need to sand the edges a bit to get them to fit properly. The rest works as it should.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

Special Note: These buttons are not balanced.

Complete set: The fit around the hex is looser than factory keys. The overall width is wider than the original, I had to rotate the keys and change the key pads to fit properly. Installation is pretty much as you would imagine Quality: Forged Steel Stitched Hex Holes Special Notes: These wrenches are wider than stock, modification will be required FOR THE DRIVER SIDE, WHICH OFFERS SLIGHTLY MORE LIFT THAN THE PASSENGER SIDE, THIS REDUCES THE DRIVE-SIDE TILT. THE KEYS ARE NOT MARKED BUT ONE IS…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Unreliable

Cheaper alternative to expensive keys with one caveat

I have installed two sets of these keys on two different Ford Rangers (2003 and 2010). They work fine with one exception. The original keys are approximately 1.03 inches wide around the hex key hole. The width of these keys in the same place is 1.13 to 1.14 inches. So you have to grind .050 on each side for them to work (otherwise they won't fit in the key pocket). Also, one key has a slightly different key angle. If you're careful when you take the old one off, you'll notice that the torsion…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled

Nice, BUT, prepare for the “installation battle” to become a reality!

The good thing is that they are forged steel and well finished. As for my 2003 Ranger FX4, I had to wrestle hard three times to get it close and see that when I rotated it, when I clamped it, it popped out of the radius mat on the frame. At this point I couldn't slide the crossbar adjuster through the crossbar, sweat was pouring down my eyes and the outside temperature was 90ºF for an hour, oh my god! I figured I'd just put the OEM key back in and that's it. After cleaning and painting the old…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some difficulties
