Works well - temperature and humidity

Does what it's supposed to and looks right. The display is larger than expected and easy to read. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the beep that sounds when a button is pressed.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Doesn't go well with everything

TM26 NSF Certification: Temperature Indicators

I use it on a maple syrup finish. Accurate, waterproof and easy to read. The alarm on this TM26 is a plus. According to other reviews, there are no problems with the coating of wires yet. I didn't like that you can't turn the temperature alarm down, you can only turn it up. That means you have to scroll up a few hundred degrees to go down a few degrees.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Easy serviceability

Functional and reliable

I use it to monitor the water temperature in the lake. It is easy to read and reliable. This is the second of these devices that I have purchased. The first lasted 3-4 years before temperature readings became unreliable. It won't last forever, but it's one of the few devices on the market that accurately regulates the lake's water temperature, and the annual cost is decent.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

When I received this item I was pleased with its performance

When I received this item I was pleased with its performance, display size and accuracy. My goal was to monitor the temperature in the terrarium. To my surprise, the probe started rusting after a few weeks. I can't believe a rusty sensor would continue to give accurate readings so I returned the product for a full refund. I really want this to work for me.

Something has changed.

I have used these thermometers for almost 5 years at my last job with great success and few problems (during this time we had to replace one). I bought two a few weeks ago for a new company that does the same job as before. One was broken out of the box (the temperature didn't budge from 96°F) and after a week of use the second broke, now it only reads (-50°C). It's a shame as they have been so reliable to me in the past and they do the same job as before.

Pros
  • Testing, measuring and checking
Cons
  • Slightly torn

A GOOD PRODUCT. THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS ARE VERY USEFUL.

I review problem HVAC systems. I have used a Cooper Industries digital thermometer for many years. Still there. This type is good because it refreshes quickly and with metered fluid it's easy to tell when it's reached equilibrium. The folding function is convenient because the device turns off when you fold the probe. Save batteries! When you insert this stocking into a flexible channel or a flexible connector into a rigid channel, the support will unfold halfway, allowing you to hang the…

Pros
  • Temperature and Humidity
Cons
  • Other Other

If you're looking for a device that will alert you when the temperature is out of range, keep looking. Other than my 100% regret about this purchase, I have more regrets that I waited over 30 days to try it and now I can't return it. 1) 24 hours after I removed the plastic thing that activates the battery, the low battery indicator came on. For real? Is the battery only enough for one day? 2) The device is not intuitive at all. You can never program it without the supplied booklet. 3) I bought…
