Pleased with the strength of the cold/heat dampeners, the installation is not difficult but there is a manufacturing defect since after installation in just 2 months one of the dampeners came loose from the screws that attach it hold in place. Dogs shouldn't wear themselves out so quickly! Update: Posted via their website and sent us a newly developed valve/app. Faithful to your 100% satisfaction.

I am by no means a carpenter. So the installation was difficult for me. I would recommend having a friend with some experience help with the installation. This indicates that it is well preserved. I had it for maybe a year. It survived the winter and my dog finds many uses. Not letting myself get up at night, which was my intention. Also allows me to drive longer without having to run home for him to get out. I am happy with this purchase.

At first I really liked this door. Looked good and closed well. On closer inspection, however, the wings are not made of permanent bending material. if you bend it back and forth too much it breaks, so after 5 months when my dog was in and out the door one of the leaves broke. I have checked another valve and it is also on the way to failure. There doesn't seem to be a way to swap out the doors so I need a brand new dog door. I paid pretty much $170 for a product that lasts 5 months.

I bought this door in May. When I took it out of the box I was so excited. It looked great, was sheltered from the wind and let the dogs in. Worked great. I installed this folding dog door on 5/2020 in my heated garage to allow the puppies to come and go as they please. At first it seemed great and the quality is top notch (at least for a $170 dog door) but today (12/15/2020) the door broke. The outer flap has 3 screws holding it in place and they all pull through the plastic flap leaving the door with one flap.
