High hopes, low quality thimble

I purchased this thimble with high hopes that it would secure my spare tire carrier on my boat trailer, however, I was sorely disappointed. Though it fits the cable, it is not durable at all. Through trial and error, I found that the thimble snapped after only a few uses. As an Automotive enthusiast, I expect better from products meant to secure my equipment.

Pros
  • Fits cable
Cons
  • Poor quality, not durable.

Good line good price

I bought this line for a small anchor. I installed it but haven't used it for water yet. Works well and is great for my purposes. It was by far the most economical of the many options out there.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Not sure

The tape arrived shabby, we'll see.

So I've used this a few times this season with our anchor and so far so good but the rope came with very little wear already on the line which can result in the anchor falling on the reason remains of the river. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it clears up. Maybe not.
