Heavy Duty Rope, Use with 16# Anchor

Use with a 16# anchor in both fresh and salt water, seems strong and takes up a lot less space than my previous rope (twisted). I also have a puller to pull the anchor and I was a little worried how it would hold up but so far so good, it pulls and floats the anchor perfectly with an 11 inch buoy. The price is right too, so I like it

Pros
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty. Fit Type: Universal Fit
Cons
  • Expensive

Light Fused Line at Bow

When I first opened the package I was disappointed at how light and fragile this tackle is line came but i decided to give it a try it worked fine for a couple of weeks until one night i was using my boat and found the bow light (which was off) was melting after i replaced my boat after the capture Had the rope anchored I now have a weak point, it also tangles more easily than a twisted rope.

Pros
  • 3/8" x 50' Premium Multifilament Polypropylene (MFP) Tether Line with solid braid and stainless steel thimble on one end
Cons
  • No Instructions

Solid braided line, works well and is flexible.

Solid braided line, works well, good and flexible but difficult to braid even with the right tool. I haven't tested this under load, but it should work fine for our purpose. We use it as an anchor line on a 21ft jet boat, our lake is calm and not that deep. It's a nice light and flexible leash, I don't expect our use to exceed the rated strength. A stainless steel thimble screwed into the line is not a very thick material, but it will do.

Pros
  • Working Load Limit: 250 lbs., Breaking Strength: 1290 lbs.
Cons
  • Great Price

Not for rivers and block systems.

Bought to use as an anchor line for a river raft. I've used it 3 times on limestone and limestone influences. The rope is beginning to fray and may be worn out. I'm not sure if this anchor line is designed to rub against rocks, but it does happen. I bought it because it was flexible, lay well on the raft, and seemed like it wouldn't "curl up". But unfortunately it starts to twist and create kinks which eventually get stuck in my pulley blocks and prevent the anchor from dropping. I think I'llโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dock lines and rope
Cons
  • Doubtful
