Excellent quality! best in hull

I wanted this for getting in and out of my deck boat when launching. This did the job perfectly. No more kneeling, just hop on and off. I love it! My trailer has thick beams so I had to buy longer propellers but I anticipated that. I highly recommend this product.

begins to rust almost immediately. The mounts are too high to be useful.

Bought this for my pontoon trailer because the bottom step was too high. Unfortunately, the lowest mounting position on this tier is just a few inches below, and actually a few inches above, the trailer tongue. Also, the step started rusting after a few days without even visiting the lake.

Strong durable step

Rating update Buy the zinc plated powder coated version I bought still rusts badly even after a year. Great step, very durable, heavy and oversized. Be sure to check your tube size as mine was almost too big. The reviewer was previously given a star, they must have replaced the bolts as the threads now run the full length of the carriage bolt.

Simple, easy and bulletproof

This little piece of equipment allows me to launch and lift my small fishing boat and stay dry for the trip home. Easy to assemble even alongside the deep base telescopic drawbar mount, no frills other than a riveted tread rubber and made from heavy gauge (3/16 inch minimum) galvanized sheet steel. The nuts are nylon and the bolts are electroplated and long. Good Trip!

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Not younger, now 71 years old. Launching and towing my 17.5-foot bass tracker is more of a chore when moving from the trailer tongue to the bow of a boat and vice versa, whether alone or with my wife. That clumsy step (climb) to or from the boat to the trailer through my trolling motor became a PIA. This step, attached to match my image, gives me a simple two-step step forward or backward. No I haven't, but I will this week. But only in the inner courtyard did you breathe a sigh of relief. (For

Easily the best money I've spent

I've had boats for years and have always squirmed and struggled to get in and out when the boat was on a trailer. You either risk damaging the fender by leaning on it with your weight, or stretching and twisting to hit the trailer. With my new boat I decided I was too old for yoga poses so I took a chance. Too bad I didn't buy it a year ago. The step is simply attached to the trailer with just four carriage bolts. I had to run to the hardware store to buy shorter bolts because the ones that…
