I don't understand all the good reviews about this little monocular. I think it's a cheap piece of junk in front of a landfill and I paid TOO MUCH for it. It will not focus on the beans even at not very long distances. Maybe I expected too much.

Small, light, easy to use. It focuses at a very short distance, which is sometimes very useful. I used a similar monocular to read labels, take inventories when the crate was hard to reach, read signs from afar, and spot wildlife. It will always be in my travel bag!

I had the opportunity to compare this product with several binoculars and another monocular that I already have. I'd say this item is noticeably better than the really cheap stuff, but it doesn't compare to higher quality glass either. I found it to have better resolution and contrast than my old (Orion) 8x20 monocular. It also had much better eye relief, which is important for eyeglass wearers.
