🚰 EZ-FLO 20181: Brass Irrigation Hose Bibb with MIP x 1/2 inch MHT, 1/2 inch Size Review

When it arrived it was still in a small plastic bag but the handle was torn off and a tiny screw was at the bottom of the bag My first thought was maybe I could do it myself had to assemble. I came to my senses and threw it away.

Bought to replace an old leaking tube bib. However, once I installed it and turned the water on, it leaked worse than the old part. abominable. I called Revain to return it and they told me to just keep it. I threw it in the trash.

I got this to make a steampunk toilet roll holder. Wall mount uses 6 x 1/2" pipe and bottom flange. Keeps TP there until you remove it. Just open and swap. A little lube on the threads keeps it very light. Sounds crazy but looks in a "locomotive" bathroom good looking.(Also towel handle and towel rail with round red handwheels, pipe, flanges and elbow.)

I bought two of these. One works fine while the other was constantly dangling from the handle (so it was just spinning and not spinning the valve). Even though I tightened it as tight as I could, it still had an issue like the screw hole wasn't screwed in deep enough or something. In any case, the other works perfectly and overall I recommend it. No matter what you buy, there's a chance you'll receive a defective one, so this is no different. Things happen.

I purchased and installed this bib in mid-June 2020. This worked fine for a week or two. After that it was no longer possible to turn off the water completely. I found that the washer seal had come loose from the valve, cracked and stuck in the valve. I replaced the gasket and reassembled. Again everything worked fine for a while. He started to switch off again. This time I replaced the gasket by adding a small copper washer to hold the gasket to the valve. Today my wife tells me that it won't…
