You're better off working with softer steel

I used 600 grit to sharpen two end mills before throwing them away. Plates don't last long. It would be cheaper if someone sharpened your bits. They might work better on softer steel, but if you plan on sharpening carbide I'd look elsewhere.

Pros
  • The longest, strongest sharpening tool available
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Can sharpen most of my tools.

Paul Sellers highly recommends this brand and given its ease of use I can see why. I've bought all sizes and now have a sharpening kit from 400 to 1200. A drop of Windex on the sharpening surface will keep your dull tools sharp and smooth. By the looks of it, full-time professional carpenters swap out these items about every 10 years, which means the average person will use these products for a lifetime.

Pros
  • Credit card size makes it easy to store and/or carry.
Cons
  • Legacy Model

That's great. fits sharpener

Bought as I knew the company and had used their products before. I use many different sharpening stones (I currently have about 13.15). They are very rough as all diamond stones are new but over time they wear down to where they should be so until then I'll use a cheap knife to break them up. , I'm tired of carrying a bulky notepad in my bag, it's the size of a credit card and fits right in my wallet. PERFECT!

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
