upset. but satisfied.

Disappointed. I received an open, used, defective item. Maybe an earlier return. There are signs of wear on the thin side of this stone and a bare spot where the diamond material is missing. I should get a new item for at least $50. I'm just disappointed because it has to be a good sharpener. I'm changing my rating for this gem from 1 to 5 stars. This is the best sharpener

I have a set of kitchen knives that have dulled my butter knife over the years. I've seen videos of people claiming the knife was "blunt" and they could still cut paper. It was really boring. You can hit her on the arm and not hurt yourself at all. The paper just crumpled under the blades. I have tried other sharpening systems such as the Spyderco Sharpmaker. The problem is that the knives were too blunt for this system. I ordered it and hoped for the best. I spent an hour on the block tonight…

Great price for a diamond stone! I finally have sharp knives again!

Works! I'm very glad I chose a diamond stone over a regular stone and it's a good price. I've never sharpened, but this is from a YouTube video about a professional sharpener. Over the years our sharp knives lasted a few months and then grew duller unless I paid a high price to have someone sharpen them again only to last 6-9 months before they became dull. Before that I bought a standard sharpener (reel type) which is highly recommended here and it actually dulled the knife compared to before.
