NOT genuine 608ZZ wheel bearings and they do not meet ABEC specs

These are FAKE 608ZZ wheel bearings as the real ones have an 8mm inner diameter hence number 8 in the 608 series. They will not work with standard axles for ANY Pelican body because Pelican uses genuine 608 series wheel bearings with an 8mm bore. These poorly made FAKEs have crushed inner rings so they claim to have a 6mm bore and provide 6mm axles for them. These are not standard 608ZZ bearings. You can verify this online by searching "608Z bearing specifications". DO NOT USE THE 608ZZ NUMBER…

Perfect fit - well made

Perfect for your favorite Samsonite sleeping bag/laptop bag on wheels. You become attached to something after you've been with it for about ten years. It was very frustrating that everything was fine except for the broken wheel. Why buy another (smaller) bag for hundreds of dollars? There are many videos on how to change a wheel in the luggage and every bag is a little different. But it's worth it. And the effort lies in turning off the axle journal, which is riveted, not screwed in and is not…

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other options

The wheels are of high quality and cheaper than a new bag!

I've been using these wheels for two months now with no problems. In the past I've had wheels on wheeled bags that wore out within a few weeks. That's why I spent over $100 on a quality trolley. The wheels have lasted a long time, but of course they have worn out over time. The bag was fine so I decided to change wheels. I used a hacksaw to cut through the axles of the current wheels. Why not? If I ruin the bag it will already have to be replaced due to worn out wheels. I read in another review

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

I used 64 x 18mm wheels to replace the standard hard plastic wheels on my Pelikan case that I use to carry my photo gear. I've never been blown away by how hard plastic OEM wheels seem to transfer every bump and vibration to the body, even though I installed a Pelican-padded splitter inside. I came across a couple of reviews where people traded their wheels for luggage/skate wheels and I was intrigued. Can a quick and cheap upgrade make such a big difference? YES OF COURSE! These wheels are…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I bought these F-ber luggage wheel replacement cases to fit a wheeled duffel bag that had wheels worn down to almost plastic hubs. I measured my old wheels with calipers before ordering and to be honest these F-ber wheels didn't quite fit as expected. The inner and outer diameters are ok, but the width is a bit odd. I bought 18mm wide wheels and the wheels were actually 18mm wide at their widest point, but note the rubber part was only 14mm wide! The inner ring of the bearing is cylindrical and
