Works on porcelain stoneware

Not sure about durability (but looks ok) as I've only used it on a shower head hole but it worked very well on porcelain stoneware. I used a drill and a few drops of water.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works much better than competitors

When renovating two porcelain tile bathrooms I had to drill a few holes in the tiles for glass top supports/fixtures. I went through four or five bits and spent a lot of time drilling through the first three panels. I bought these for the last panel and drilling is much quicker and easier. I drilled four holes with a drill and when I was done it was still in relatively good condition.

Pros
  • Hole saws
Cons
  • Fragile

Not forever, but for the price it's great quality

Like all those bits that are made for very tough stuff, they will wear out over time. Wax is actually amazingly useful and this brand doesn't wear out as quickly as others. I refuse to invest in expensive ones because they eventually wear out. I use them to poke holes in ceramic and concrete pots (IMHO there are never enough holes) and I've probably made over 15 holes with one and can still use it. . I don't mean cheap planters either, good thick pottery and some very thick cement, even coated…

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Expensive
