So far so good and very good quality upgrade kit! Would definitely recommend to a friend and some reviews said hopefully not in the last 6 months or a year. In most cases some things happen, but for the most part it's different situations and I hope this was one of those situations. I believe in this hard drive and so far it is working very well! Just follow the instructions and if you can't figure it out watch some videos. What they don't tell you is how to keep your PS Plus.

This SSHD worked on my 1st gen PS4 (2012) which eventually crashed me by staying in 'safe mode loop' meaning it refused to open the to exit safe mode even if the operating system was properly booted from USB. I was supposed to get 2TB but I was dying to get my PS4 working again. Overall it took me 15 minutes to get my PS4 up and running with a noticeable difference in load times.
