Inner plates (towards the wheel) are not stiff enough to prevent them from going over the rack and tangling in the spokes. Must either be used with a very wide span rack or you may need to get creative by adding another batten to your rack to keep it clean. Pros include excellent storage capacity and the materials feel durable.

I would give it five stars but it lost a star because it seems like the photos were taken on purpose to make you believe it be a hard bag. . Please note this is a fully soft canvas bag. No hard bottom, no hard sides. Photos probably look this way because they use a square border to keep their shape. However, this is a pretty good saddlebag no matter what.

I just received these today but haven't used them yet. As I looked at her, I seemed to have gotten a good deal. The material is a bit thinner than I would like but the way they look looks ok. The stitching looks good and they seem to be well done overall. I'll come back later after using them for a while and update any bugs in the bags. From today's perspective they appear to be of good quality and I expect they will last a few years.

Overall, this is a great bag set, but with a caveat. You will need to use a bungee (not included) to remove the sacks from the spokes. I also put something hard in the bag. Besides that I love her. I bike to work and it has room for my laptop, a change of clothes, lunch and a three liter bottle of water. I also have a lock, spare wheel compartment and a few tools. It's a little frustrating putting it all together but overall I'm a happy camper. (On site)
