The blade is very sharp and flexible so it follows contours easily and doesn't "get stuck" or miss spots with larger spots (e.g. carrots). I found it tidy and clean. I've tried carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, and sweet potatoes and it's been fine, but the design of this particular type of peeler seems more awkward with shorter veggies (like potatoes). I laugh at the "Euro" label. Does this old marketing ploy still work? I've looked at Revain in both France and Switzerland, dammit, and the cover in both was in pretty much every other style where the handle is shaped like a C and the blade goes through.
