this is exactly what i needed. but after about 5 or 6 uses I noticed that the pan was already flexing so that the outside edges were drooping a bit with the center being the highest point. When I crack an egg in half it immediately starts to slide out of the way. Although I don't really use it for eggs. I mainly use it for pancakes and french toast and it works great for that.

Edited: Well I've used this a lot and the other day the side melted. I don't know why as it was on low heat but it happened. So I spent almost a year. Not bad, but that's why I'm deducting 3 stars. I'm in love. I make oatmeal protein pancakes for breakfast and they are heavy. I prefer to make them without any oil. So I tried different pans, both oiled and non-oiled. Many disappointments. I bought this to use on my glass hob. When it arrived the pan was perfectly level and sat perfectly on the stove. I heated it to about 350 degrees to toast the sandwich. I used a laser thermometer to take the temperature and never saw part of the pan exceed 375, but at the time the other part of the pan was nearly 100 degrees colder, so the distribution was unsatisfactory. I bought this pan to replace a previous one that was warped. My main concern when buying it was whether or not I could melt the cheese. It sounds weird, but I like to tossing heaps of packaged mozzarella into the pan and then tossing it into a sandwich or tortilla to give it a crispy texture.
