I really wanted you to like it. I brought it for my husband in April for Father's Day in June. I had it for a while before gifting it to him so the 30 day return window was over before we even used it and then we kept it before using it for a while until our quail started laying eggs again this year to lay. and until we had enough to start a batch of eggs. For some reason the pivot block didn't fit so the installation was very difficult. Mainly my fault but the instructions didn't exist so it took me hours, yes hours, to figure out how to fix it. I was able to go online and find some instructions but they were vague to say the least. That's my biggest complaint. Missing or bad instructions.

Bought two of these. I have Farm Innovators foam incubators and wanted to raise quail. They fit just like they should. And they work fine as they should. However, these slats are better suited for regular sized quail eggs. If you're lifting a giant Coturnix like me, expect the rails to sag. They won't break, but they will sag. These guides were a bit tricky to install on my existing lathe, but once I figured it all went smoothly! BE CAREFUL when removing old rails. You MUST remove the motor by removing the SMALL nut and bolt holding it together THEN the old rails rotate enough to slide out of the locking rails. Only 6 new rails in the package. Instead of 5 rails with 7 eggs, these rails have 20 egg slots for a total of 120 eggs. Replacing the original eggs is easy.
