My daughter lives in Minnesota and her little dog was reluctant to go for a walk in the winter because of the ice and snow. It didn't take long for the dog to get used to the shoes, but once he realized that his paws weren't struggling with ice and snow, he got used to it. All in all a very good product.

I bought these based on potential buyers responses to questions they asked for 2 boots or 4? There were all 4 replies, only 2 in my package but my dog has 4 paws not 2! The leg length is shorter than in the photo. I will come back and look for an alternative.

I wish I had found them sooner. I looked through two other pairs of boots for my dog before finding this one. I had to put a boot on him to protect the bandage when he went outside and it worked great. I bought these dog shoes in Vermont in the middle of winter. For the most part they did their job, protecting my dog's paws from snow, ice and salt while still providing excellent traction. While I love the reflective velcro straps, I wish they were a bit wider to really keep the booties in place (reason for only 4 stars). Take extra care when accurately measuring your dog's paws to ensure the best possible fit.

Looks like a great boot but I'm having a hard time putting them on. I don't think the trunk is to blame! If I had I would have given them a much lower rating! They are new so they are stiff which I think will decrease with wear. They are well constructed and open up to allow the dog's paw to slide inside.
