Looks good but the bread sticks and won't come out.

I don't know what and why but the first time I tried to bake a loaf the loaf wouldn't come out and got stuck on all 4 sides and the bottom. It looked beautiful and felt like a high quality bread pan. I even buttered the inside and bottom before putting the dough in and the loaf still hasn't come out. I had to cut it and the bread stuck and fried on all sides and bottom. I soaked the pan for an hour and washed it fairly lightly after soaking. I'll try again and see what happens.

just what i wanted for bakeware

I have recently started living a ketogenic lifestyle (gluten free, sugar free, free from processed foods etc.) which includes cooking. Who knew?! Because I miss sandwiches, I found a bread recipe online designed for this pan. And because I want to make a recipe and have past experience of baking and using the wrong size pans, I bought it. My first bread came out as advertised - beautiful. The pan is durable and easy to clean - always a nice bonus. Thank you for the good product and service.

Decent Bakeware on Bakeware

I have to admit that I'm not 100 percent in love with this product. I want a non-stick baking pan. Based on my preferences, this really limits my options. I already tried to buy a bread pan from the same brand but ended up sending it back. This one isn't perfect either (too short and wide) but my husband was tired of going upstairs to get my shit back. I have several baking pans from this brand that I really like. I think it would be a great pan for meatloaf or even banana bread. I'm glad I…

The best pans for gluten free bread!

I've been experimenting with gluten free bread for the last 3 years and finally had to admit that one of the reasons most gluten free loaves are "small" is because they just don't turn over. even in a medium sized pot. I've baked paleo bread in these pans that would not rise easily or bake evenly in any other pan. I find these pans really make a difference in my bread results! And when I spray them with Spectum Coconut Oil first, the bread comes off very easily and the pans are clean in no…

Everything sticks! on bread plates

The pan itself is excellent. High quality, thick, heats up well, nothing gets scratched. But when they say it's not nonstick, they mean it. I've probably cooked paleo bread in it 5 times, and each time I try something new to coat it (olive oil, avocado oil, ghee, etc.), and nothing has worked so far. When the bread is baked I have to poke it around the edge with a knife to separate it from the mold and then the ALL inside the mold is covered with a nice crunchy crust of bread. Next time I'll…

Great 1 pound bread pan!

Superb frying pan in a rare size. This 2.75 x 7.75 x 3.75 size is the best size for baking "1 pound loaves". I use my bread maker to make dough and then finish it in this pan in the oven. The finished product is always much nicer than in the car. The aluminum pan heats evenly and has a solid weight. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues with bread sticking to this pan. I always grease the pan well with vegetable oil, as I was taught. You can also use solid coconut oil or lard. After taking…

Perfect baking trays: bread and bread trays

I came across Fat Dads while looking for non-bare aluminum pans to replace my old (rusty) tin-plated steel pans. Anodized aluminum is great because it doesn't react with acidic ingredients. It will also not rust or oxidize. For cakes and other more delicate items, I line the pan with parchment paper before baking, otherwise it will stick. However, breads and rolls need to be lightly oiled or buttered (not even necessary for rolls, which are already quite greasy) and they come out instantly…

Disappointed - Bakeware

I bake gluten free bread and need a bakeware that is larger than a mini pan but smaller than a regular loaf pan. I was hoping they would work for me. After reading a few reviews of sticking pans, I decided to spend a few extra dollars and buy two separate pans. I spent quite a bit of time just removing the bead of glue that secured the label to the inside of each pan. Then try to remove the UCP label from the bottom of each pan for about another 15 minutes. Goof Off took a long time too. This…
