Great tool. I have three of these. One in the car, one in the garage, and one in the kitchen drawer. Long lasting, great bits that won't wear out. Just a well made tool. I tip my hat to the Germans.
Very handy for storing bits right in the lid. Can be adapted to hex, star and square bits and dedicated to one type of different sizes. Absolutely to recommend.
very good quality tool. However, my only problem showed up the first time I used it. I needed to get into tight spots and the larger diameter tip interfered with this operation. The positive-locking latch on the lid held extra screwdriver bits securely.
The reason I bought this was because of the so called extra long rod which was a whole 1 inch longer compared to the Klein Multibit, not too much length. Good idea but opens too easily Nothing beats dropping pieces off an 8ft ladder onto the ground.
I use it every day. Key Features:* The magnet is REALLY strong so enough magnetic attraction is transferred to the bit to ensure a secure magnetic hold on the screws.* Very comfortable grip.* The bit case will not open accidentally. And if you do, the bits won't fall to the ground as they are held in separate slots inside the case by powerful magnets.* The shaft is longer than other bit screwdrivers: 11 cm plus the bit. So it's "extra" long, but not really "very" long.
I've had it for a few years. It is very good. It feels great in hand. The problem is that one of the plastic tabs that attaches the lid to the handle is broken and now unscrews when tightening the screws. This is very annoying and makes the tool almost useless. In addition, the magnets are so strong that it is almost impossible to remove small parts with your fingers. I use needle nose pliers. As mentioned, this is a pretty handy tool. A longer shaft is also good. Update: forgot to mention: I…
