🐾 Atlas Two-Door Pet Carrier: Easy Assembly with Secure Side-Clip Construction – No Tedious Nut & Bolt Assembly Review

I bought this for my biggest and youngest cat who turns into a tiger when it's time to get in the carrier. It is very useful to be able to put it gently on it without letting it rest with all its paws on the side opening. This stretcher is well built but lightweight and I think a few cat tantrums will hurt it. This is not a carrier to be thrown around (empty), it is too fragile.

This has been repackaged. No problem. No flaws other than design. Whoever came up with the idea of putting this thing together never managed to put it together. Fingers still hurt, cuts and blood pressure are off the charts after trying to assemble the product. Don't keep your kids or wife around when trying to collect the impossible. Also keep all animals away, otherwise they may find a new home. Worst product ever bought from Revain and had to be picked up.

Parts are out of specification. They do not fit together as described in the instructions. The top handle for pet carrying is flimsy and shaky. It is poorly secured at the top, and if it detaches, the pet and carrier will fall to the ground, hitting the legs and feet of the handler carrying it. This lack of a proper carrying handle can also injure others if it falls to the ground. Personal injury lawsuits can result if this poorly made transporter is used to transport live animals.

This pet carrier is wonderful and very easy to assemble with clear instructions. We bought a large one and I was nervous at first if it would be strong enough as my cat is 5.5kg but it's great. My cat hated the soft pouch we gave her when she was a kitten. She got so angry and scared every time she saw it. Although assembly is easy, all fasteners/connectors are very weak, unreliable and break easily. The top looks like a wire kitchen cooling rack with a handle latch in the middle, with two small, slightly curved plastic "hinges" brackets on one side and a pair of small plastic slides that straighten the edge of the "lid". so cover and snapped into place on the opposite side, they were difficult to slide in that shape. I am a veterinary technician and have seen and worked with many types of carriers. Top locks and front door locks are NOT easy to use. Most often there is a spring pack for the front door, sometimes for other luggage racks. It has neither and is difficult to open and close securely with the TABS used. If I hadn't waited so long to assemble it (and thrown away the shipping materials) I would have sent it back without hesitation. I won't use it or even donate it because I'm concerned that someone

The quality is much better than I expected. This is the perfect size for my small 9 lb cat to rest in. She is older and I wanted something small to carry her in my car when I'm away from home for a few days as I don't leave her alone like I used to. after some health problems. I bought the unit knowing the handle and door could be a problem based on the review and the answers to my question. There were enough positive reviews for me to try it. Overall: This is a good little carrier, but definitely a lot of plastic. There's no real hardware there other than a powder-coated wire door and top grille, leaving plenty of room for weak points.
