LEAD-SEALING PAINT: LBC III (lead barrier compound) forms a barrier between lead-based paint and the environment to offer protection from the toxic metal while safely preserving architectural details. BITTER ANTI-INGESTANT: We've added a bitter anti-ingestant agent to to LBC III, offering protection against ingesting lead in the event that the underlying lead paint chips off. INTERIOR & EXTERIOR USE: Our lead abasement product is a permanent solution, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Plus, it's available in white and antique linen. TESTED & CERTIFIED: LBC III meets and surpasses the ASTM E-1795 standard for lead-based paint encapsulants. This sealant is safe for use in all 50 states, UL Classified, and Class A fire-rated. EASY APPLICATION: To apply, use a brush, a roller, or airless spray equipment on a dry surface. 14 wet mils are required to achieve a film thickness of 7 dry mils, which is the required minimum.

Sturdy and Versatile Encapsulant

As a result of using this product, I found that it was a sturdy solution for encapsulating problem areas. It worked well on a variety of surfaces and was easy to apply. However, the drying time was a bit longer than expected. Overall, the Fiberlock Paint Industrial Encapsulant is a reliable choice for industrial painting projects.

The can was badly dented but the finish seemed good.

The tin was badly crumpled before shipping (the box it came in was fine). I have a little bit left so I'm just hoping the color will hold up well due to the warped lid/jar. Opacity was probably better with this paint than with the Lead Defender Pro finish.

Looks good. Good coverage. I have no idea how it can be "permanent "

Superb finish. Excellent adhesion. Pretty cool white color. I love the satin finish. I won't even cover it with any other color. Looks great and lasts. Lead tests are negative where I have used this. However, I am suspicious of the "permanent" statement. I don't know how, but I imagine that if you scrape it off the LED it will still be there. Although I haven't tested it yet. The paint is expensive, but the coverage was so good that a gallon of paint was almost enough to cover the entire trim…
