🚲 FIFTY-FIFTY Aluminum Alloy MTB Stem 1-1/8 Steer Tube 31.8mm Handlebar Review

Stem arrived on time. I installed it with no problems except I had to add some thicker space on the steering column. I've ridden some really tough trails with it. He holds the bar securely, doesn't squeak and doesn't sleep.

I was looking for a 50mm stem for a mid-road/slope style dirt jump mountain bike. It had to withstand impact while looking good. The aluminum alloy Fifty Fifty stem and my hassle free purchase and delivery appointment from DBI Cycles was the right choice!

I haven't had a chance to test this product on the trails yet. The stem is very light, durable and looks amazing live! Like I said, when I switched from 50mm stems to these 35mm stems I didn't get a chance to really test them, but I can definitely feel the difference just from sitting on my bike. I will update this review after testing this product on the trails.

Good quality stem. I have a Rockshox WC XX1 Revelation carbon fork with a head tube and I wanted something that would highlight the carbon. Side and back cutouts create beautiful fireplace windows. Other than that, it's a tribe, so there's not much else to say. I ordered a cheap Chinese version but the workmanship was something from a high school class. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got this one.

This stem I ordered for my Trek Boone 9 solved my problem with the stem being too long. The stem the bike came with was 90mm long which gave me shoulder pain. New stem 50mm. Now my elbows have the right bend and my shoulders don't hurt. FIFTY-FIFTY fit perfectly, easy to install and lightweight. And a sharp look. Make sure your headset is properly adjusted before tightening all the bolts.

The rod arrived on time and well packaged. This is a sharp looking stem and has a huge difference in reach compared to my previous stem. The screws are good and did not loosen like other screws. I think the price is too high for something that does nothing (no moving parts) and I wish there were more color/shade options for better bike customization. I can't give 5 stars just because of these facts. It's still a very good product and I would recommend it if you don't mind the price.

I bought 35mm and 50mm to use both (for different types of riding). Unfortunately the 50mm seemed to have been cut off somehow as it just didn't fit my steering column. I have never seen this, but the return of the goods was accepted without any problems. I left the 35mm as it fits (I also bought handlebars to match). The 35mm stem works great and goes (in length) with almost anything. I rode with much wider handlebars than before, so I suspect the 35mm length worked well in the end. I have no…
