The filters came with 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 glued together They were probably packed before the glue was completely dry. For one of the filters, the media did not fully adhere to the cardboard. I have no idea whether it was like that from the factory or whether the material came off when the filters were separated. All four filters are packed together. Once you open them, you cannot close the remaining filters. It would be better if they were in a box or wrapped individually.

We bought all FilterBuy filters. We don't notice any difference between these filters and those of big stores or well-known brands. Our annual maintenance HVAC rep has no issues with it either (scheduled maintenance only. Never had an issue with HVAC). This off-label brand has cardboard crisscrossing both sides, not just one. I installed a more expensive filter at the top of the firebox which I usually buy from my local members camp club but the filter ran out so I bought this filter from Revain and installed it at the bottom of the firebox. I've tried all kinds of filters. These aren't the best filters you can buy but I'll tell you for the money they work great. I have a friend in the industry who advised me to stop buying insanely expensive filters and just buy cheaper filters and replace them more often. After using them for 3 months I found that they work just as well as a similar brand I can buy in a big store. Really great, versatile, well made filter. I've bought cheaper filters at our local dollar store and when I go from them to these the difference is phenomenal! I didn't save any money because I was lucky if it lasted a whole month. The fibers didn't hold up well and they didn't filter well. The price I paid was a dollar or two more than most similar DuPonts from my local big box, especially when there's a sale, and about a dollar less than the similar 3 million.
