    Simple and good kit

    I bought this for my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ and installed it above the driver's side tail light. The cable was very slack all the way to the driver's seat, and that's because the cable was hidden behind all the plastic paneling. It didn't take long to install and it looked nice and clean on the jeep.

    2002 Ram no go.: Audio and Video Accessories

    Bought this mount for my 02 ram1500. The Firestick website says it's attached with screws CLOSER to the firewall. This does not happen, the bracket is not long enough. You can use the middle screw OR the one that sticks all the way out of the bars, but to me it looks a bit silly just waiting to be shaved off. I will return this one.

    Perfect so fewer wires are visible

    Installed above the tail light on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Connected it to the dashboard. Amazing and very easy to customize. You will need to solder a tip onto the radio's CB connector. Tested and it works great with 4" Firestik antenna. I also recommend buying a Firestik spring. It comes with instructions and there are more instructions online.

    Fits my '97 Ram perfectly - used a fender bolt.

    Perfect match for my '97 Ram. A thumbscrew was used which is located on the driver's door so no new holes were made. I replaced the factory fender bolt with a longer one to add extra torque to the bolt, but that was the only change. Fits perfectly to the edge of the wing. If your truck has an automatic transmission, the cable can run through the firewall where the clutch pusher paddle rubber bushing is installed and not used, and if it is a manual transmission, share the bushing used by the…

    Excellent product but not that easy to install (otherwise perfect, 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Pro install)

    Excellent kit. Excellent fit and finish. Connected to a Bearcat 998SSB with a 3 foot Firestik II antenna with a spring SWR of 1.00 Ch 1 and 1.2 Ch 40 with no tuning. Wonderful. I've tried the K30 magnetic mount before (less installation hassle, easy to remove) and couldn't consistently get 1 out of 7 weather frequencies to hear NOAA reports. That's why I bought the Bearcat CB. What a disappointment when I get best reception from a Uniden Atlantis 250 portable marine radio in my concrete…
