i bought these bags for my 97 chevy k1500 and they work great. I tow a 6500 lb camper with cams just fine. had the bags for about 8 months.

This is the third set of Firestone Ride-Rite airbags that I have owned. Installed in a few hours. They should be #1 on your tow update list.

No packaging in shipping box. All metal parts hit other parts. If I install them like this, they rust quickly. I guess I'll have to sand and paint the parts before installing them or something. I don't have time to wait for a new one before I need to use them. Really disappointed. Seems to be a well made product that should last, better quality than the Hellwig set I had on the old truck as far as I can remember except for shipping.

So far I like the product. I didn't notice any problems with the packaging. However, the inflation valve's plastic bracket that holds the air valves was broken and the air connector failed. I want to replace defective parts. The Revain returns page handles ALL return requests as the entire product is being returned and I only need the plastic mount and air fitting. Revain needs a better way to report a partial refund.

I am a general contractor and have a GMC 97 Sierra 4x4 and I am towing a 6" x 12" closed trailer loaded with tools and there is always a heavy rack of ladders and lumber in the truck. I've hauled pallets full of concrete and taken them to the landfill many times and these airbags have worked flawlessly! Stable pressure, no leaks, no problems! In fact, the truck drives better than it did before the airbags were installed! Highly recommended.
