What's the deal with smoke alarms that go off between 1am and 4am? I have a maintenance schedule where I vacuum each of my alarms monthly and remove and check the batteries every 6 months. Overall a very good unit that is not physically obtrusive or intrusive, just hanging on the wall and watching for signs of fire or high carbon monoxide levels.
