Very easy to attach. Google, Firstbike lowering and the first video from Firstbike will be an installation video. For the more advanced, I recommend getting a helper or, even better, turning the bike upside down for assembly. Either way, it's very easy to do. I am currently sharing this bike with a 4 year old (who doesn't want to give it up, he loves it so much) and a 20 month old. With this kit both can still ride a bike.
