Expected something different

Received these today and when I looked at them they were very small. I probably expected them to be bigger. So I returned them. I have found that you save money if you buy them (Forster bits) individually.

Pros
  • Suitable for hardwood, softwood, chipboard, laminate and MDF
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Invalid packaging. The box doesn't fit.

I paid $148. For this set you expect a great product. The first package arrived with Forsner bits loose in the package. The box of them was not the same as shown on Revain. The second order came in the same wrong box. Should I build my own box to make the bits fit properly?

Pros
  • Precise cut quality
Cons
  • Not sure

Best Quality I've Ever Found

These Forstner bits are probably my top 5 favorite tools in my shop. They cut a clean hole that is perfectly matched to the nominal size. I've been using them for a few months now and they still cut just as well as the day I got them. I highly recommend them, I'll be getting a metric set soon too! The box isn't fantastic, but it does the job perfectly. I drilled a few holes in a block of wood to attach to my tool wall, so I don't really care about the quality of the box.

Pros
  • High Speed
Cons
  • Small Change
