Not an exact replacement, no auto dimming and thinner bezel. You can see the missing wire in my photo, otherwise a good replacement. Some improvements were also needed. The thermal connectors were thinner and I had to pinch the wire connector to get a tight fit. I also had to pull two metal clips out of my old mirror, I believe they are anti-vibration clips, not essential but very useful. This item fits my 2013 Ram 1500 however there were 2 things that were a bit odd.1. The 2 clamps that power the heated mirror weren't even remotely tight so they needed needle nose pliers to secure them. 2. Outer case, the plastic part attached to the original mirror is not suitable. This way you will have an extra part once you have completed the installation. I made a mistake ordering this mirror! I'm glad I only ordered the driver's side. The facility wasn't bad. I had trouble getting the old mirror out. The first thing I noticed was that the new mirror didn't have the metal clips that snap into the mirror frame on the bearing unit. Compared to a $200+ OEM replacement, this is a great deal. I had to replace the driver's side mirror on my 2011 Ram 1500 Sprt because I was hit from the side while parking in the city and I never found out who was responsible. Beautiful, isn't it?
