Mirror Fit - Replacement glass for outside mirrors

The fit of the mirror is the most important thing. The included double sided tape is not very sticky, I used mirror glue instead. Do not scratch the back of the mirror, it is visible from the front. Inside the box was a small sticky pad holding the mirror in place, I removed it with a razor blade and you could see it from the front. How ironic that it stuck so well, but the double sided tape that came with the install didn't.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Don't follow the install instructions

I'm on 4 of them not counting the damaged ones. Don't follow the installation instructions, you will break the mirror. It's very thin and fragile. Instead: 1) Put on gloves - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COMPLETE THIS STEP OR YOU WILL BE INJURED 2) Remove the old glass 3) Remove the base plate 4) Attach the new glass very carefully using the supplied double sided tape to the base plate 5) Mount the base plate and mount the mirror on the car

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Some little things

The fit was fine.

This mirror is probably better if you don't disassemble the assembly and remove the old mirror. The mirror comes with tape to stick directly onto an existing broken mirror; However, I disassembled the entire mirror and removed the broken mirror. Because the replacement mirror is slightly smaller than the standard mirror, it is very difficult to align it perfectly so that the edges are not visible in the frame. Anyway, it looks good and works. I just wish it was the same size as the original.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
