Width not too wide

Just got this today so don't know if it's my 20ft boat DIMENSIONS of this sand going anchor is 10 inches wide and 11 inches long. changes rating if it holds my boat in 10-15 mph winds while fishing.

Pros
  • Recommended for boats up to 34', adjustable shank/shank angle for a secure fit. Great for sand and good for mud
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I've been using this anchor all season on Lake Michigan hunting sea ducks. He did a very good job. It's mostly sandy, but we attempted to anchor in 100+ feet of water. which can be difficult. We used a 10' 5/8" chain before that. It worked perfectly! I'm glad!

Pros
  • This Five Oceans Fluke anchor weighs 7.25 kg (16 lbs)
Cons
  • Expensive

Very poor quality, suitable for rowing and sailing.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this product. Looks like someone welded on the anchor as part of a school project. The welds were messy and all over the surface. I think I should have understood that you get what you pay for. I paid a little more at the local boat shop and bought a galvanized rubber anchor which I am not ashamed of using.

Pros
  • This anchor measures 30 3/8" (772mm) shaft length, 21" (533mm) bearing width, 12" (305mm) arm length and 13-1/2" (343mm) arm length. ) Fluke Width
Cons
  • Something else
