Helps find AC leaks with UV light and .

Helps you find AC leaks with a UV lamp and safety glasses. Very bright in the light and stains everything it comes in contact with. Put on gloves and old clothes. What else can you say about this product?

It seems to have worked. I saw color everywhere.

Appears to be working. I saw some paint around the compressor. So replace compressor, condenser, receiver/dryer, choke filter. Everything but a few lines and the vaporizer. Now in the thick of it.

Use it to find a leak in my car vise.

Use it to find a leak in my car vise for a $90 leak test. I was able to determine that my air conditioning condenser was the source of the leak. Ordered and replaced with a new one. This leak detector saved me over $500 doing my own vise repair.

Great Stuff: Tools and Equipment

Ordered this instead of driving 2 hours to pick up a bottle I left at home. I don't know if it's the dye or the light I ordered to go with it, but it's a lot brighter than what I used. Uses maybe 1/4 bottle to diagnose a damaged AC capacitor. I will order again when I run out.

AC Essential

AC Essential. This stuff does its job, give it time to run on the system and use your light to find leaks. I use my sensors to insert it into the system, there are many ways to do it, I just prefer this method. Remember it's a dye, get it anywhere and it will light up anywhere when you use your black light, you don't want it on the AC lines because it will just make it harder to find leaks. I clean it off the line with brake cleaner and wash my hands with Simple Green if I get caught.

  • Ideal for me
