FJC R134A Aluminum Manifold Set, 1 Pack - FJC6785 Review

Cheaper than going to the shop and asking a tidy sum. I looked at others that were cheaper and not as durable. This unit is better assembled than others and I like the case!

Has worked in the automotive HVAC industry for over 25 years. These sensors are worth their money. I wish the sensors were covered in glass lenses instead of plastic lenses but they didn't cost $300.00. It's good to have extra log tubes. They work great and are well made. Would definitely buy them again.

This was a good set for the shop. I'm happy to add that arrival worked great. You just have to look at those gaskets, it was necessary to check a rubber gasket which after a few uses became clogged and the pressure gauge didn't work. The top side removed the old gasket and put in the new one and it worked again.

This kit for the R 134a with long hoses is very practical. At some point, however, I wanted the hoses to be shorter so as not to lose a lot of refrigerant in the hoses after removal. I wouldn't count this against the product as I knew before I bought it.

They have a lot of good reviews but when I started using mine the bottom needle gauge STAYS at -29 hg. I even removed the pressure gauge from the manifold, no change. After that I no longer trusted him to give me exact pressure readings. The seller was great, sent me a return label and I ended up renting a distributor kit from the Autozone.

This set is very well put together. I have had this set for 7 years and the gauges are accurate to this day. I replaced my entire AC system on my 00 Trans Am and it works great with my Robin Air 8cfm two stage vacuum pump. I used everything that came with it, even a valve tool, to remove the faulty A/C valve that was leaking freon out of my high sideline and replaced it with another. High quality gauges, hoses, fittings, can taps and adapters. I have the snap-on and robinair kit equivalents at a much lower price. Actually not much more than a new set of hoses, you also get a new set of pressure gauges, which get 5 stars. This kit worked right out of the box. I love that it comes with all the accessories, spares and a set of the usual o-rings for your AC system. Also included is a carrying case for everything you need to keep everything organized, but the hook and hoses must be disconnected from the gauge manifold for storage.
