I bought them as a good option for ties and I am very satisfied. The only thing that worries me is how the bed brackets themselves attach. In every photo they are shown in the opposite direction but then the key part would stay up and I've never seen them from above. Also, they work as intended. There are no instructions in the kit (just to clarify).

2 of them are very tight on the anchor plates and 2 of them wobble a bit. I don't think this affects their performance, but be aware that these aren't factory Ford farts and so the tolerances aren't that tight. I don't know how tightly you could snap them together without falling apart, but they seem good to me. Install 12-button cam. all blocks have the same keys. I find 12 keys a bit much. It could probably save another $5 if it had the standard 2 buttons or even 4 buttons, but 12 is more…

After reading the reviews I decided to buy these anchors for our 2019 Ford F-150. First, it's somewhat surprising that some of them are just made out of durable hard plastic; Second, so very, very disappointed with the installation. While no instructions were included, it would be nice to have installation tips/suggestions. Provided you have Boxlink mounts installed these spikes are no problem. They connect and lock effortlessly. (and yes, you will have plenty of spare keys). They offer excellent mounting options "higher in the bed". And they're easy to open and close, so you can store them away when you don't need them. The only real dilemma I encounter when using them is this. I leave them on all the time and only take them off when they're in the way? OR, do I leave them on and only wear them when I need them…
