Does not work when wet!

Total loss of $. They advertise that you can use it underwater. No! I tried using this to caulk a plastic drain tile arch to use as a pond overflow. It doesn't even stick to itself when wet! By the way, I feel very good. This stuff just doesn't do what they claim it does in water. Not even close!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Poor performance

I used this tape to cheaply secure my rear bumper cover after it was smashed last winter. Two months in fix and it's holding up great! This stuff is REALLY strong and REALLY sticky! It's winter now, snow, mud and cold, and the tape is holding up like the first day I put it on.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • disappears

Absolutely worthless crap

SHIT! DID NOT WORK AT ALL! Says it can be used underwater. NO. Says he'll fix the leaks. NO says he will fix the plastic. NO! I have used it in 3 different places to try and solve 3 different problems, this product brags that it can fix and it literally did NOTHING! When I put it under water to glue it. He literally swam away! SWIM! Didn't stick for a second! Absolutely useless! Never again!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So

sticky but not waterproof

We had problems with our water filter installed on the faucet. I first sealed the Crazy with silicone and let it dry for 24 hours. Then I cut a nice big piece of tape that fits perfectly on the front of the filter and close the tear I sealed with silicone. Leave the filter back on to allow the tape to stick to the filter. Finally reconnected to the faucet and turned it on. Initially no problems, no leaks. A few days later leaks from under the tape started, days go by for more leaks. I removedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable surface

The lid of the whirlpool has been repaired

A lot of water got on the lid of the whirlpool at the bend. I took out my foam pads first, since they were completely soaked with water, I restored them with plastic wrap, put them back in place, and then put this tape on the hot tub lid. However, I made a few mistakes: 1. It was very hot when I did this and the tape took a long time to cure. If I were to do it again I would certainly do it on a cloudier day or less hot. I got impatient and put it back on my hot tub before it was completelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than the others

Saved me thousands of dollars from water damage! (UPDATE!)

I bought Flex Tape a few years ago at the urging of a colleague who felt every home should have at least one roll of Flex Tape. I can't help but agree! We are working on the roof and suddenly a downpour with strong wind and hail started. 3 layers of tarpaulin covering the rafters where the roof would need to sag and collect water which would have been fine except hail ripped tiny holes in all 3 layers of tarpaulin and rainwater started pouring in at midnight. After throwing buckets under allโ€ฆ
