Saved me thousands of dollars from water damage! (UPDATE!)

I bought Flex Tape a few years ago at the urging of a colleague who felt every home should have at least one roll of Flex Tape. I can't help but agree! We are working on the roof and suddenly a downpour with strong wind and hail started. 3 layers of tarpaulin covering the rafters where the roof would need to sag and collect water which would have been fine except hail ripped tiny holes in all 3 layers of tarpaulin and rainwater started pouring in at midnight. After throwing buckets under all the buckets and phoning our contractor who came right away and tried to patch the holes with duct tape, I remembered I had a roll of flexible tape. My contractor was skeptical ("Really like on TV?"), but IT WORKS! Even in very wet conditions, the Flex Tape quickly adhered to the tarpaulin and completely covered the openings with no leakage. It was also strong enough that we could slide a long PVC pipe up from the bottom to help the tarp shed water. In fact, even where there were no holes, we added a few more Flex Tape patches simply because we knew it would take pressure and not break. Considering the strength of the hurricane, I'm sure Flex Tape saved us at least a few thousand dollars in water damage. UPDATE: Flex Tape continues to save our home during renovations. Over the bank holiday weekend we had wind speeds of 70 km/h and heavy rain. The old part of our roof (still under construction) started leaking late Friday evening. I really didn't think Flex Tape 1949 would stick to wet, wet wood, especially in the rain, but it did! If we didn't have Flex Tape on hand I really don't know what we would have done as the leaks were extensive and in places where it was impossible to get a bucket (or anything) to collect water. . Purchase recommendation for all cases!
