Very good experience on first try to print TPU.

This filament is my first attempt at 3D printing with TPU. Very well packaged: reusable vacuum bag in carton with silica gel bag to protect the thread from moisture. Inside was also a small gift - a hot-end nozzle. Unfortunately this is not the right size for my E3D extruder. I also liked their spool - it's clear plastic so you don't have to guess how much thread is left. The windings are very tight and orderly. I used a Prusa Generic Flex profile with a few tweaks to print a pair of zippers…

TPU is such a useful material for functional printing

I use my 3D printer to create functional parts, not to print models or toys. I've found TPU to be really useful for many purposes. I've tried several different types of TPU in the past and settled on Yousu TPU for the first time. It's comparable to other brands I've used and works well. Yousu ships their filament in a resealable package which is a nice bonus and they also offer a 0.4mm nozzle although it is an MK8 style nozzle and I am using E3D style nozzles at the moment. One of the best TPU in its class.

Let me just say that this is one of the easiest TPUs to setup/configure that I've worked with. Well packaged with a good vacuum seal so you know you are getting a fresh spool unlike some others that come with broken seals. This is necessary for TPU because it is very hydrophobic. In addition, the bag is zipped (Ziploc) for long-term storage. The spool is crystal clear and graduated so not only can you see how much you have left, it's marked in 10 percent increments.
