Mounting plate attaches to wall bracket in horizontal position ONLY. My 32" TV (Hisense) has mounting holes that work IF the mounting plate can be rotated vertically, but this is not possible. t! I bought it for another TV a few years ago. At the moment, the small TV is only held in place with two screws. We're watching it closely to see if those screws are starting to loosen or if the TV could fall. This is a disadvantage of "fits most TVs". Apparently there is no adapter.

I would recommend this item if you don't want your TV moving up or down all the time. The bracket moves slightly to the left and right. You can adjust this mount up and down, but you'll need to adjust the hardware to do so. The TV doesn't have a hinge latch to hold it to the wall, but it does have a one-finger quick-release screw so you can place the TV on a bed or store it to move.
