I don't think the mount will break and drop my monitor (at least I hope not) but I have complete confidence in it. When the arm is extended to its full length, my monitor sags a bit. I understand that some deflection is expected, but this is preventing me from using the mount as intended as the monitor is impacting the surface of my workstation due to gaming. I will pass this feedback on to those who intend to use this mount in the same application as me. If you want your display to remain level at all times when your arm is outstretched, this mount may not work.
