Poor tarnish protection

I have used this product in the past and have been very happy with it. I bought a new pipe and polished a badly tarnished silver plate. As before, the cream effortlessly removed plaque and gave a dazzling shine without much effort (needs very little buffing). However, the tray completely faded in just a week compared to over 2 months for the first tube I bought. I am very disappointed and will not buy it again. (I gave 2 stars for ease and effectiveness of dullness removal).

Fantastic results! for body care

I had an exhaust pipe where the previous owner seems to have burned the plastic protection and was unable to remove the residue. I was told about Flitz by a colleague who bought it at a gun show. He had a little sample and it was important so I bought a tube of it. Well as you can see from the photos the difference it has made is fantastic. I've tried to clean this with different products in the past without success. I would definitely recommend Flitz to anyone who needs to clean metal. Even…

Excellent material! on car polishes and waxes

Found this stuff at a Milwaukee sports show almost 30 years ago. It worked great then and still works today. The only metal polish I use. Works great on everything. A little secret about this stuff. When polishing things like nickel with a tool like a dremel you can sometimes get the nickel hot enough to change color. Nickel turns blue. Well, no need to worry. Take some flitz on your finger and rub it. Leave on for about 5 minutes and wipe off. The color is gone. Worked great for polishing my…

Stainless steel kitchen sink looks like new again!

I saw this product for the first time many years ago at a national kitchen and bath exhibition. When I first used it, my wife was gone for several days. When she came back she thought I had replaced our twenty year old stainless steel sink. It is so good! You'll pat yourself on the back if you put in a little effort. It's easy to apply (use sparingly) and easy to remove if you follow the directions. Use it once or twice a year and the rest of the time just wipe down with a kitchen towel. Your…

Removes even stubborn salt stains

Good material. I use it everywhere on my Sportster: tubes, fins, wheels, etc. I ride all year round and the "salt" (whatever it is) from city dumps on the winter roads is particularly bad for chrome/aluminum . Flitz works very well with a buffer on a main drill. I've found that cordless drills don't have enough RPM (or battery life) to get the job done. For general fading and normal dirt, Flitz works on the first try, but for really stubborn stains, such as cracks. B. on road salt, it takes a…

That's great! I love it! A trick I have up my sleeve.

I use it for everything from polishing rubbing points on a gun to repairing a scratch on a car. It works amazing! For scratches, simply clean the area by wiping with a damp cloth, apply Flitz to a cotton rag (an old sock or piece of t-shirt) and rub thoroughly back and forth until you get a smooth, polished surface and/or the scratch is gone is gone. To polish the trigger parts on my guns, I simply dip the end of a cotton swab into the tube and rub until it's black, then use another cotton swab

Pros
  • The best in its niche

  • Only available in black

Great for brass and copper

My parents lived in Pakistan for several years and came back with hundreds of bass and copper vessels, pots, cymbals etc. I just inherited a few of them, and many were in dire need of a polish. Some had corrosion, dark stains, stains, etc., in addition to the usual dark corrosion. For hard-to-reach areas I used Flitz's Brass and Copper Tarnish Remover Spray. This material removes corrosion and paints perfectly. I use this flitz polish and it works great. On brasses with deep cut patterns, using
