Great muffler for exhaust and emissions

This muffler is great. surprisingly low end of the rev range, and when cruising the interstate at 75 it's surprisingly quiet. I would recommend this to everyone!

Flowmaster = favorite diesel!

After years of using Straight Pipe 6.0 PowerStroke turbochargers, Powermaxx is one of the best things I've done to my truck. I couldn't take the howl of a cold turbo at high idle anymore. Don't get me wrong, I like the way it sounds direct. I've tried several other options and I'm glad I chose this one. slightly more compared to other types of double glazing, it's worth it after about 1000 miles. Now I hear the engine more than the exhaust, which is what I wanted. The drone was a killer, especially when towing something uphill with a 5-inch exhaust without a muffler. I then installed a 51" Donaldson which helped a lot but didn't completely remove the hum and noise from the cabin. Now I have a…

Why didn't I do this earlier?

Got this for my '07 LBZ Duramax. I used a non-silenced muffler with a 3" MBRP downpipe into a 4" mid pipe with a 5" tail and a big tip. It wasn't terrible but it was quite noisy when you got on it and the drone carried me. ...I was concerned about the noise level in the driveway because I didn't want to wake my child every morning. So I put a factory exhaust in for a month or two and it was awful. I finally got the chance to weld this muffler with larger pipes yesterday and I'm so glad I got…
