My husband wanted to order this for a new exhaust he installed on his 2007 Chevy Silverado. The exhaust tip is very well made and looks great on the truck. The only issue my DH had was a small fat size to tighten the tip to fit the pipe. In the end I had to go for a big bolt. That being said, it's great advice that makes the Flowmaster Super 44 muffler sound even deeper!

Some people have reported that the pipe "turned yellow" after a short installation. Most machined and chromed car parts have a thin layer of oil. It is normal for the metal to turn yellow or take on a slightly bluish tint as the oil burns. I opened the box when I received it and ran my fingers along the exhaust pipe to get a feel for the finish. Easy to install but also for someone else to steal. Too bad they came with some sort of tamper proof screw. In addition, the finish and thickness of this item appear to be of good quality. Although I didn't like it on my truck, I'll leave it in the garage for now.

Plan on purchasing a 5/16" x 2" stainless steel bolt, nut and washers. Those that weren't the same, but the stars weren't removed for it. My 2020 Ford Ranger exhaust pipe is a bit small. I bought a pair of 3" exhaust pipes, they don't slide on the truck exhaust, so cut a piece about 2" wide from the pair and use that as a spacer. It's dragged on forever, it's going nowhere. High quality, worth every penny.

I used this tip to finish installing my Dynomax VT muffler on my Ford E150 4.6 V8. I just thought it was the right size, but once installed I found it larger. The guys at the muffler shop did something to make it fit. You should have taken the part where you tighten the screws. instead they cooked it well. now it looks amazing! Build quality is excellent. I also like how it complements the muffler sound. definitely worth a try. I am happy with mine :)

The stock exhaust on my 2019 Ford Ranger looked very simple. I've looked at other exhaust tips in the $20-$30 range, but reviews have pointed out problems with trim peeling or blueing/burnout.
