🚗 Flowmaster 2000130 3.00" Universal Catalytic Converter - High Flow Metal S.F., 200 Srs. Review

No exhaust odor and no venting issues 400hp Not sure if it works well at high power levels but for my application it's perfect!

I was skeptical at first when I was looking for a good 200 cell high performance catalytic converter for my Audi A3 8V and it is absolutely silent when I use it wants and loud if I want to hear better than without a cat and don't feel any difference in performance, so all in all a great investment.

I installed them professionally as I don't have a welder. I mounted them to the headers and welded them to the Y-pipe. The ones I received look different than the photo, look better. They have a pleasant throaty sound. I bought them to replace a well known brand that failed twice (the substrate was lost). They didn't reduce the car's performance. They appear to be of very good quality.

This is the best catalyst I have ever used (I have run through many Magnaflow converters). It looks good, it's easy to install, the price is good and it flows very well. It doesn't change the sound much either, but it's quieter. I have a 3" single exhaust with a Flowmaster muffler on the end. With the Magnaflow clogged (my car runs a little rich) the car was a long way from passing the emissions. With the Flowmaster this goes far. Nothing to regret. I would not manufacture any goods in China…

Not installed yet but looks good. I chose this metal core version over the ceramic version as people complained that the ceramic blocks rattled over time. I just hope this gets rid of the excess gas smell coming off my 2015 mustang with long tubes without coils. I'll try to overcome the smog, but I think that's not all. Aug 1st 22: My Texas Speed & Performance stainless steel Y-pipe came with chrome plated crampons and after the 2nd winter it was clear that they had to be attached to my expensive stainless steel hooker manifolds and steel Y would start to rust.
