🏎️ Enhance Performance with Flowmaster 8042541 2.5In/Out 40 Series 409s Muffler Review

Sounds great on my 2004 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8! Combine the Flowmaster with a high-performance air filter to really free up and spice up your car/truck!

This Flowmaster has a very aggressive sound but not too loud for me, I have it in my '94 Dodge Dakota with a 318 engine or 5.2 V8 with a 2.5 Inch exhaust and it's not very noisy in the truck when I drive it even with the window open. I even put one in my wife's 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee at her request and it has a 2.25 inch system with a 4.0 I-6 engine and now it sounds like a V-8 and she loves it.

I was impressed by the reviews and the price of this muffler for my 10 year old Tundra. I sounds a lot quieter than the original after it rots. I have a pleasant throat sound. The only downside was that it's 10" shorter than the original and we had to add a 10" section of pipe, adding some extra labor and $10 per pipe. I am very happy with the end result.

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer ZR2 4x4 4.3 V6 and wanted a deeper sound from the muffler. This muffler adds the perfect amount of sound I was looking for.
