I really like this muffler. As the seller said it was new when I received it. I installed it in my little 1998 Chevy S10. Now it buzzes nicely when I walk. It sounds even better when you accelerate and crank the engine a bit. Very good

This muffler was exactly what I wanted. Inexpensive with good sound. Not loud, but audible. Installed a Gemi on a 2004 Dodge Ram 5.7. The fit was perfect and I am very happy with the volume. Louder than the standard but doesn't offend the neighbors or the hum on the freeway.

I ordered this 50054 after speaking to Flowtech tech support. They confirmed that the muffler is a 3 inch core with 3 inch inlets and outlets. After receiving them, I measured the inner core. There's a 2.25" limit right at the inlet, and the baffles are just over 2.25" - definitely not a 3" core and not as advertised. If you're building a 3" system, look elsewhere for mufflers.

I've always said I'll never be the "guy" to scold a product. Well, I'll be that guy. I ordered two of these for my 2002 Chevy 2500 truck with the 8.1 liter engine. If the dampers held up, I'd be happy. You sound amazing. Even if the quality is bad. That's probably to be expected from a $30 muffler. One of the two I ordered failed completely.
