🐠 Fluval A20153 306 Magnetic Impeller: Optimize Aquarium Filtration with Precision Review

I thought my Fluval 306 was nearing the end of its life but decided to give it a try before spending $300! It worked perfectly!

When ordering, one of the ribs of the plastic part to the impeller came broken, but it wasn't even in the package. Luckily my old plastic part wasn't damaged so I just replaced it. Cannot be exchanged as my filter needs to work asap.

I dropped my original impeller and two blades broke after cleaning. After reading other reviewers' comments, I ordered a replacement and wasn't sure if it would come with a ceramic stem. It arrived exactly as promised and fits perfectly. I kept the old ceramic stick as a backup. The impeller works perfectly.

306 filter ceramic shaft The magnetic impeller is about 1/8 inch short, so it does not close properly, which is why the filter does not work. I used an old ceramic stick since it was still in good condition, but I was planning on using it as a backup as the ceramic stick breaks so easily, so now I'm losing another $20 if that happens.

Our pump's ceramic shaft has broken. We bought it for renovation. Delivered quickly. ceramic shafts. There's no logical reason Fluval can't just sell the shafts without the rest of the impeller and save us a few bucks. $18.75 is a lot for something that can break very easily.

Must have these handy if you have a 306 filter I find it easier to replace the entire impeller than just the ceramic rod inside, which causes problems such as vibration and loud noise. You notice that after a water change. The ceramic rod is very thin. I broke them replacing them one by one. When I use everything it works.
