Nice wide document pockets

I love these document pockets. I'm usually used to media bags that are about 8 inches long and only 3 inches wide, but this bag is nice and wide! Also, the laces you tie are very easy to use even after they've been in your filter for over 6 months.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Some little things

Ideal for canister filters.

I use these media packs to add PhosGaurd to a Marineland C-220 canister filter and they work great. The pouches are easy to close with the included clips, and their shape makes it easy to fill the media compartment completely with little to no bypass. I highly recommend them.

Not for "Purigen " or other synthetic resins

I wanted to use it with SeaChem, "Purigen" and their ultra premium brand: AquaVitro, "Purfiltrum". However, their pore size is too large and SeaChem synthetic polymer beads fall out easily! So they didn't work for me. They are perfect for activated carbon in filters.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good Media Pack: Filter Accessories

Really good media pack for large media. I use it in Fluval 206. It's definitely a good deal for two bags. I was hoping it would work with Seachem's Purigen. Do not go. Don't take it for purigen. Purigen is too small and just flows through the mesh. However, it works great with Seachem's Phosguard.

Great design and ease of use

I used a bag of Fluval charcoal to store charcoal in my 38 gallon mini reef aquarium and replaced the charcoal sponges that came with Innovative Marine with a small bag of charcoal. The pouches are made of a comfortable material with a fine mesh that allows the liquid to flow while the medium is inside. There is an "inverted trident" clip which is very easy to use and secures the media pouch by preventing the contents from falling out. I was impressed with the design and ease of use. The bag is

Not as expected! Not the bags that come with Fluval filters!

This is not the package that comes with global filters from the factory. Factory sacks are very stretchy like pantyhose with a very fine mesh that helps keep the material clean like a filter sock and also fits the space well when the material is placed in the filter as it can change shape and allow the Material allows a large area to be filled without diverting water. . Those aren't the bags. These are corset mesh bags that you can find elsewhere for a lot less, but instead of a plastic zipper,
