I bought a pack of four and used these brackets for a wall hung folding table. The bracket mechanism is faulty, harsh and very difficult to work with, after their brackets became very difficult to untie I finally forced them to the point of damaging my desk.

I used these to build a sleeping platform in my car. I can remove part of this platform when not in use and these legs fold down for easy storage. They are very strong and reliable, they are easy to assemble. I don't know if it's possible to have four different hinges to support the table, but it could be. I only use two of these as the platform is attached to a different section for stability.

Turns out they're great for something like a table leg, but not very good for a shelf. You must actively hold the "tongue" on it in order to be able to fold the leg/rack down. On a shelf, you must hold the tabs AT THE SAME TIME, making folding almost any shelf a two-person job. And that using only TWO of them. I was going to use three (it's a long shelf) but it's almost impossible to fold.

It's a good thing that so many screws are included, otherwise I wouldn't have finished converting my gaming table. I had at least half of the heads cut off while screwing them in, this isn't the super hard wood I'm working with here and I had to fill them up with my own stash. Worst of all, in this case you will have to adjust the position of the screws to compensate for the defect. Do yourself a favor and buy props that you can feel safe with.

I made foldable legs out of it for the foldable sleeping platform. Once switched on, the hinges are fully fixed and appear to be very strong. However, the latch that you pinch to make the loops fold needs to be pinched straight down the middle or only one side will be released. This led to frustration and fumbling most of the time trying to fold the legs attached to these hinges. Even after installing them and using them a few times, I still found them quite stiff.
